yes Gamma your so right,–> fresh organic cannabis rules, all the goodies are best captured raw eg, cold pressed juice, pesto sauce, salad. Raw foods that you dont need to cook will deliver most abundant supply of all the available vitamins, minerals, nutrients, cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes in fresh cannabis

but you can cook it and when you do the heat will activate the THC then degrade it into CBN so keep the heat low as possible and only about 20min to cook like cookies or cakes there are many recipes available in this time.

Transdermal delivery of cannabidiol attenuates binge alcohol-induced neurodegeneration in a rodent model of an alcohol use disorder

Excessive alcohol consumption, characteristic of alcohol use disorders, results in neurodegeneration and behavioral and cognitive impairments that are hypothesized to contribute to the chronic and relapsing nature of alcoholism. Therefore, the current study aimed to advance the preclinical development of transdermal delivery of cannabidiol (CBD) for the treatment of alcohol-induced neurodegeneration. In Experiment 1, 1.0%, 2.5% and 5.0% CBD gels were evaluated for neuroprotection. The 5.0% CBD gel resulted in a 48.8% reduction in neurodegeneration in the entorhinal cortex assessed by Fluoro-Jade B (FJB), which trended to statistical significance (p = 0.069). Treatment with the 5.0% CBD gel resulted in day 3 CBD plasma concentrations of ~ 100.0 ng/mL so this level was used as a target concentration for development of an optimized gel formulation. Experiment 2 tested a next generation 2.5% CBD gel formulation, which was compared to CBD administration by intraperitoneal injection (IP; 40.0 mg/kg/day). This experiment found similar magnitudes of neuroprotection following both routes of administration; transdermal CBD decreased FJB + cells in the entorhinal cortex by 56.1% (p < 0.05), while IP CBD resulted in a 50.6% (p < 0.05) reduction in FJB + cells. These results demonstrate the feasibility of using CBD transdermal delivery systems for the treatment of alcohol-induced neurodegeneration.

Halifax, Canada: Cannabinoids are safe and effective in the treatment of chronic pain, according to the results of a systematic review of randomized controlled trials published in the Journal of Neuroimmune Pharmacology.

Investigators from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and McGill University in Montreal evaluated the results of 11 placebo-controlled trials conducted between the years 2010 and 2014. Trials assessed the use of various types of cannabinoid preparations, including herbal cannabis, liquid and oral cannabis extracts, and nabilone (a synthetic analog of THC), in pain treatment.

Cannabinoids possessed “significant analgesic effects” and were “well tolerated” in the majority of studies reviewed.

Authors concluded, “The current systematic review provides further support that cannabinoids are safe, demonstrate a modest analgesic effect and provide a reasonable treatment option for treatment of chronic non-cancer pain.”

A 2011 review of 18 separate randomized trials evaluating the safety and efficacy of cannabinoids for pain management similarly reported, “[C]annabinoids are a modestly effective and safe treatment option for chronic non-cancer (predominantly neuropathic) pain.”

In September, Canadian researchers reported that pain patients who consumed herbal cannabis daily for one-year experienced decreased analgesia and no increase in serious adverse side effects compared to matched controls.

For more information, please contact Paul Armentano, NORML Deputy Director, at: paul@norml.org. Full text of the study, “Cannabinoids for the treatment of chronic non-cancer pain: An updated systematic review of randomized controlled trials,” appears in the Journal of Neuroimmune Pharmacology.

The science for the use of medicinal cannabis oil is credible, specific fact-based, and is documented in detail. There is absolutely no reason to not legalize medicinal cannabis and create an immediate production and distribution of high THC hash oil to cancer all sufferers.

Medicinal cannabis treatments can be applied in various different forms, from mouth sprays to liquid extracts and tinctures and elixirs, even cannabis creams and ointments.

The Juicing and drinking of raw cannabis leaf and bud is another method that allows for the consumption of cannabis and all of its healing benefits without the presence of any psychoactive effects.

    Herbal Cannabis FM flower

Juicing cannabis leaf and bud seems like an out there health fad but in fact it is a highly effective method for those who need the therapeutic benefits of cannabis, without the psycho activity. Unlike smoking marijuana raw cannabis does not provide an immediate relief to those who require acute symptom relief. The medicinal effects of raw cannabis can take three to five days and even up to eight weeks to be noticed. In saying this the benefits of drinking raw cannabis juice are immense. Kristen Peskuski was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at 16 which evolved into a lupus condition, her poor mother thought she would never survive. Kristen was on over 40 different medicines, potent anti inflammatories  all sorts of pain killer and antibiotics one of those which nearly destroyed her vision and lead to steroid toxicity. Kristen and M.D William Courtney began to using raw cannabis for juicing. Within four to six week after she began drinking these juicing Kristen had no more back pain and didn’t need her pain pills, it was the best she had ever felt.

Juicing raw cannabis leaves over smoking or vaporizing it allows sufferers to ingest large quantities of THCA and according to Dr Courtney juicing cannabis is the best way to utilize the plants medicinal properties. It is still unknown the extent to which juiced cannabis may help but the advantages that have already been discovered have given many people a new way of life – free from pain and disease.

Hail hEmpress Lucy Haslam tell’s it like it is…

TAMWORTH’S Lucy Haslam has revealed an ambitious plan to grow and supply medicinal cannabis to those in need.

On the program last night, Mrs Haslam said she’s already looking at setting up a small research and development facility in Tamworth and has applied for a NSW government exemption to cultivate the drug.

If successful, her ultimate aim would be to supply patients who register under a “compassionate access scheme”’, which is still being developed.

“The long-term goal is for medicinal cannabis to be legalised, but further to that we need to make sure that when it’s legalised it’s affordable,” Mrs Haslam
